Devon Hanley is a singer/songwriter living in Powell River, British Columbia. Originally from Vancouver, Devon had a busy music career in the Lower Mainland throughout the late 70s and 80s. She took a break while raising her son, and then got back into song writing and performing when she and her family landed in Powell River in 2006.
Devon released her first CD of original songs in 2008, and has just released her second CD: Live Studio Sessions, 18 original songs recorded live in the studio, with Devon on guitar, piano and vocals. Her music encompasses everything from folk to jazz to gospel, focusing on strong melodies and lyrics to tell stories from the heart. With a warm and expressive voice, Devon’s performances draw the listener into the music.
